- Ensure that as one of our global key manufacturing sites Rochester is seen as a role model for people practices.

- Influence positive change and proactively mitigate and resolve employee issues.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees concerning employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment and retention. Support alignment between people management strategies and the existing business’s policies and procedures, updating each as required.

This is a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple conflicting priorities and would suit a proactive and driven HR Manager looking to gaining well rounded in a standalone role whilst working together with the wider HR community. This position will work very closely with the rest of the USA based HR team as well as the international HR Team. Opportunities to work on global HR projects exist.
Experience Requirements:

- Experience in human resources in an industrial/manufacturing site could be an advantage.
- Experience with employee relations required.

- Able to demonstrate ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent client service.
- Strong knowledge of New York State employment laws.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
